Title IX Policies and Procedures

Ƶapp University encourages those who have experienced any form of sex discrimination to report the incident promptly and to seek all available assistance. Ƶapp takes complaints very seriously and will work with all parties involved to ensure their safety and to remedy the situation.

The University’s primary concern is Ƶapp safety. Students may be reluctant to report instances of sexual assault because they fear being charged with policy violations, such as underage alcohol consumption. To encourage reporting, any other policy violations may be addressed (if necessary) separately from a sex discrimination allegation.

In accordance with Section 106.45(b) of the 2020 Final Title IX Rules, Ƶapp University is making available all materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process. This training is hosted by , of which Ƶapp University is an institutional member.

Ƶapp University values diversity and is committed to achieving equal opportunity for all. For that reason, Ƶapp abides by federal, state, and local law in admissions, employment, as well as all services and programs provided.

Ƶapp does not unlawfully discriminate based on race, color, religion, creed, sex, citizenship status, ancestry, national or ethnic origin, age, familial status, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic/because of any individual’s legally-protected activities.

Ƶapp complies with federal, state, and local legislation, as well as regulations regarding nondiscrimination. This policy applies to faculty, administration and staff, Ƶapps, applicants for employment, and applicants for any educational program and activity.
